So the scoring in the game is really weird, it is based on the speed and the amount that you have consumed, the reason you weren’t getting more stars is because whenever you level up, you have to immediately start eating the next largest thing and when you were leveled up you were eating smaller things, the way you did it is faster, but not score efficient

Just to add on, there is also a pretty big penalty for getting hit in some stages, and that makes getting 3 stars super hard because you pretty much have to do perfectly Good example of this is stage 10, if you eat like 6 or more non-zombies, its pretty much impossible to get 3 stars on that level because they remove so many points

Hardest Level in my opinion so far in my playthrough of this has been the Rat Minefield level. Extraordinarily hard to both avoid getting stepped on and getting enough mines out of the target's way.

i'm trying to 100% this game (3 stars all levels, basically) and so far probably the most annoying level has been either Leave Bee Alone or this one octopus extra level where you only have to eat lionfish/dead coral/trash and avoid everything else.

The lore of tasty planet is that the Multiverse is real, all of them. EVERY multiverse theory happens as you grow. It's hilarious how you'll get to the generic bubble multiverse and it loops itself back into being the size of a QUARK, smaller than a single Hydrogen Atom. And then you grow into an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT multiverse theory it's great!

I get that you probably don’t accept game suggestions here, but I have to recommend Katamari Damacy if you like this genre of game. It’s essentially this game in 3D, you’re a sphere rolling up objects, a sort of snowball simulator. I actually got it when I got a PS2 last Christmas (the game is pretty cheap) and fell in love with it. It gives me a feeling of relaxation that I can only compare to the feeling you get when you play with legos (if you know, you know). I have to say it’s a really underrated gem.

You should complete the game. To complete it you have to beat the last level (NOT bonus level) of the grey goo. There are also skins for each of the character (not to be confused with the hats you can give them). They play exactly the same as the normal but they look cooler i guess

I played this game on my phone many years ago. Well it wasn't really this game, it was almost the same (you can still download it, it's called Tasty planet 4). For some reason this game feels really nostalgic for me. And one of the songs (plays on 3:04) feels very nostalgic too. I swear I had played a very, VERY similar game back in the days on Newgrounds, or Armorgames or something. Just that it was not a cat robot, but some grey goo that broke out of a lab. The range of scale was much bigger though, I remember tha you started out on e molecular level and ate the whole universe by the end.

You have to eat the smaller things first because they give more score the newer they are. After you reach a certain score the score goes down for each object. Like, it can go from 10 down to 3.

I don't want to brag, but I got 3 stars on all levels a few years ago. The key is to aim for the largest entity whenever possible. For example, you start eating the peas. When you get big enough to eat the cockroaches you should then aim for them, until you get big enough to aim for another bigger thing. I really recommend keep playing. There's some kind of environmental awareness on the levels haha and the last chapter has the largest level of all the franchise
