Watching this video made me realize I'm quite happy with my fire cape.

it honestly isn't that bad. this video came out before BowFa was released so if you don't have the gp for Tbow Bowfa is actually reasonable. I was not a big runescape player/PVMer but after about 1 month 25 ish attempts I was able to get to Zuk and end his soul. one of the most enjoyable challenging gaming experience I have had.

I decided to do it as one of the first late game PVM things I did (like before any raids content).

I seen some elitist players make fun of this guide, so I wanted to check it out. The guide is A++ for inferno newbies, it teaches you all the information you need to know without info dumping you. I would recommend watching a more advanced guide only once you start getting to the deep 50s early 60s waves. The OSRS community was always lacking newbie friendly guides, glad someone finally picked up on it and is making guides for people that actually need them.

First time I've seen someone else mention the metronome plugin, that plugin is the reason I have a fire cape. It let me spend like an hour and a half prayer flicking the magers on my obby tank because it takes so long to kill anything with low range and it was the only way to make prayer last long enough.

Hey Tasty, Just wanted to say thankyou. After 3 months, 35 attempts (+- a couple) and 8 Zuk deaths, I finally managed to get my own Inferno cape. @@VliegKunstenaar Its a 'safe' death. It costs nothing when you die, you only lose the consumables you ate during the run. However if you are a Hardcore account I don't know if it is an actual safe death.

What a great video! I'm a late game player who has done bossing and really have built a good knowledge of the game, this has really simplified what I should know about the inferno because I haven't really learned this information before. It also put things into perspective and helped me understand the relative importance of everything. These videos have been tremendous! I'm very impressed with the quality!

Small correction, the dead zones are 3x1 not 5x1. The two tiles on either end are safe to attack from (but they're not safe spots from Zuk).

9 days, 15 attempts, and 3 Zuk’s, I now have my cape. Obtained it about 4 weeks ago, and couldn’t be happier. I’ve had my fang kit for about 6 months, but now that I’ve obtained those two untradeables, I now plan on starting my Dizana’s Quiver grind as well! Thanks 7asty! You, Aatykon, Gnomonkey, ItsWill, and MolGoatKirby, have all been massive, massive, MASSIVE backseat supporters in my PVM journey over the past two years, whether you’ve known it or not. I now do TOB semi regularly without issues, TOA solos daily at 400-415 RL with perfect consistency, continuing my PNM a grind since drop rates improved with 2,000kc under my belt, and am dying to get into COX/Nex, I just never really have people to go with for those two pieces of content, it’s not a skill thing, just not having the teams to go. But I think I may teach myself solo Cox in the very near future to X out the need for a team. Thanks again 7asty!

Also, decided to do my Infernal Cape on a budget to prove to myself that gear doesn’t matter, and my skill is what is helping me to obtain these rewards. Did it with full Crystal and Bowfa, Nightmare Staff, Crystal Shield, Virtus Top, Occult, Anguish, Devout Boots, ROTG (i). About a 250m to 300m budget, and only 15 attempts for the cape! I also got both combat tasks, “No Luck Required/Budget Setup)! Hopefully going to take a crack at some of the other Inferno CA’s when I can get a Slayer task for it! 450 points left for my master CA’s done, just haven’t been focusing on them lately!
