I know I'm late but in my head it goes kinda like this: Group of men and women are soldiers that fight against some sort of robot or alien army and then just when they think they've fended off the last foe, this song starts playing and they slowly turn around to see a giant fully-armed spaceship/robot. All of them die except for the protagonist who manages to sacrifice himself to save all of humanity. The episode ends with a sad song over the quiet aftermath of the fight. Credits roll over the screen. They've all been destroyed.
