This was a very important episode that answers critical questions smaller accounts have regarding tasty mechanics. I started way too large with 20% in my positions 😂 wish I had seen this when I started

When you say you took a %20 position, what exactly does that mean? Does it mean, for example, if your Net Liq is say 10,000 and you open an options position that uses 2,000 of your BP, is that what %20 means?

General question cuz i´m kinda interested in options but never traded, is it possible to trade with 200$ on a cash account or does it need to be margin?

Would definitely need to be margin, and I think you need 2k, unfortunately.

I live in Australia, i use another Platform as i can buy a stable coin in my Crypto account and send that to the other broker in the US who also does crypto, i then sell the stable coin to fund my account in the US, that all takes around 10 mins instead of 5 days, i am looking to move back to tasty when the Option Alpha integration is live, my question is, can i send a stable coin to bad trader, sell the coin which funds my tasty options account, i will be very happy if that is the case.

That's actually a good workaround and hopefully it works out for you. Funding Tasty when you're based down under (and anywhere outside US) is a pain. CurrencyFair support is one of the worst. I've transferred funds (>$20k) last Aug 3 and it still has not been credited to Tasty. Daily follow-up emails just get ignored. Maybe I should look at this crypto thing as well. Do you also have the timeline on when Option Alpha integration with tasty is going to happen?

@@nalarocks101 basically buy Crypto from your exchange and send it to your brokerage if they have the ability to sell crypto, some do, some don't, that then funds your trading account, it's very quick and cheap. It's ideal for people in other countries that have US brokerages. It removes the need for a bank. If Bad trader sells crypto then that would be great because I'll easily be able to find my TT account.

The way you trade, you still have to do technical analysis on the underlying asset. When I trade Options make a lot of money and don’t care about prices of the underlying asset. Reach out to me if you want to know. I’m trying to create a fund.

While I think the sheer volume of content and some degree of click baitish titles can be overwhelming the educational videos are absolutely phenomenal. I also have never heard them plead for me to open an account with them. Of course they mention their platform, who wouldn’t? You are free to trade on any platform you see fit.
