Super Mario Bros. 3Mix is a Super Mario Bros. 3 ( tasvideos.org/17G ) ROM hack by Captain Southbird and originally released in 2014. It is an homage to the Mario series as a whole, featuring remade levels as well as elements from many mainline Mario games up until Super Mario Galaxy (rendered back in 2D in the case of the 3D Mario titles).
Mizumaririn ( tasvideos.org/... ) attains full completion as fast as possible whilst avoiding arbitrary code execution, defined as follows:
All exits
All comets
All 300 star coins
All map enemy ambushes
All arena minigames

Commentary by the author is available in the encodes as soft subtitles.
This movie has a full Atlas Map encode ( • [TAS] Super Mario Bros... ), which shows the standard encode overlaid on a zoomed out map.

While I'm not as interested in SMB3 as I am in SMB1, I enjoyed the music in this hack. I am blind, so I couldn't see what was happening on screen (of any game, video or anything at all), but I love TASing.

It gives you many powerups in your inventory and you can access any level since the start, like a debug or practice mode, and there is a debugmove which lets you fly freely around the level.

This ROMhack really pushed the limits of the Super Mario Bros. 3 engine, so lag was most likely unavoidable in several parts of the run. It could have been much worse honestly, I know for example Kirby's Adventures is unbearable at times due to how heavy the lag could be during most of the game, which is not surprising considering how much it pushed the NES hardware in comparison to most games released beforehand.

The soundtrack is good, it's just the fact the NES only has 4 sound channels,so the TAS, which is constantly doing things, is cutting out the music
