I did it with this, final fight, earthworm jim, batman returns, etc. It was said that it could mess up the game because it wasn't formatted for anything else other than the game system, but I never had one mess up on me. 🤷‍♂️

Later releases included a Marvel copyright notice before the title screen. The original Japanese release (The Super Shinobi) was copyright-infringement-palooza, where Spidey was backed up by a flying Batman and Godzilla was much more recognizable with his back scales. As for the Hulk-Terminator, that could be any shades-wearing muscle guy who turns progressively more green as you damage him and then explodes into a robotic endoskeleton and is not infringing at all.

So the game reads your inputs. So I was holding LR to keep that "falling state" but also alternating Down and no input. So the game believes I am rapidly ducking and standing up. This causes the ninja to want to crouch when it reads the down input and stand when it does not read the down input. Thought that looked pretty funny so I put that in a couple places in the tas.

None of the bosses get one shotted. You are probably referring to the Disco Ninja which is probably the fastest. That one if you do the kunai wheel and spam it you can get almost every hit in at once..except for the final one which requires another kunai wheel shortly after.
