I first heard that theme on that troll Mario parody game "Cat Mario" (or Syobon Action) that game gave me frustrating memories and I thought it was original music. And now I know that the Underground theme originated from this game (Spelunker).

Cat Mario borrowed music from Cheetahmen in the Action 52 series in the first and third levels, the second level music comes from this game and the fourth level music is from ghosts n goblins
