I see them in good number in Hyderabad. Each bus costs around 2.6 Crores. And young educated people don't know how to take care of it. - Some will put their foot on their seats towards their front talking over mobiles. - And some have the habit of pinching its cushion. - Sorry to bring this point but most of the seats are stained by women because of lack of proper sanitary use. Are we ready for this, then people need to have sense to take care of it. They can't just complain of Income Tax and ruin things... The EV bus runs as an Airport Liner, so you can figure out that only very literate crowd boards that bus, But it is sad to see.... Sorry to give that example of Hyderabad, people are much educated there and they take good care of things, but that 20% have made it bad. This number is much higher, double or more, in other cities. We all need to be responsible and need to take good care of public utilities which is coming out of our own tax money.

EVs can't come soon enough. I heard New Delhi had to do even and odd days on vehicles cause pollution was 24x the limit. That's toxic. If I were the mayor, I would try to get chargers put in everywhere, for everything from scooters to buses and trucks.

@@davelawson2564 Running costs are lower, and the more chargers there are, the smaller battery you can live with, and the cheaper you can get one. Also, battery lithium ion battery prices are dropping every year. The increased price is not in the motor. It's the batteries.
