For some reason technical, financial or change in market requirements, they'll have to cancel a product after announcing it, that will disappoint customers. Historically this has happened in many companies across. Hence they despite being obvious, the company won't commit on it.

Rather than focusing so much on EVs car makers should rather focus on flex or hybrid. It just takes me 5 mins to fill my cars tank and drive 600-700 kms nonstop. Will I be able to do the same in an EV given the current scenario? Or rather have to search and wait for charging my vehicle. Its just not about this but a lot of things associated with buying an ev.

one point need to make here why not Tata appreciate these Earlier adopters buy giving good discount on : 1. Nexon ev some one want exchange with new one Give good discount 2 . Freebies on Tata fast charge bill for these Early adopters with coupons 3 . Highlight hem as there brand builder and EV meet more often . And last not the least but see if how can old EV be upgraded with new feature more often in coming time (Cruise Control )

I think TATA should also bring petrol variant of Harrier and Safari sooner. Not all people are buying because they like diesel, it’s because they don’t have options. I believe petrol sales can do better than EVs as many people are still reluctant to buy because of the problems associated with it.

Thanks a lot for this video. I am about to upgrade and was holding my purchase for the last 3-4 mnths, as I was waiting and hoping for Harrier petrol this Oct festive time. I have alao been searching a lot frantically all over the net but was not getting any concrete and reliable info. Now FINALLY thanks to MotorOctane I got the answer from the horses mouth itself that it will be coming next year. As I can not wait that long perhaps Its time to start test driving other options (elevate and/or hyrider as of now).

One question to Shailesh ji, you said planning 4X4 in EV and diesel is relevant in bigger SUV, then why there is no such 4X4 in safari and harrier? 2. 4X4 are mostly driven in tough terrains, remote areas etc but at that point how they will charge it in a forest or winter areas like ladakh or spiti?

One big and mandatory question to TATA is their service centre quality and service centre experience. It's a very defaming part of TATA Motors. Other companies give better service experience and TATA needs to improve in this area.

A question could be asked regarding the pricing of EVs in future like are they gonna become costlier in future as they start packing bigger batteries into Sierra, Harrier, Safari and Avinya despite the improvements happening in battery industry? Because for future EV buyers, all they want is something that provides good realtime range and should feel like it was worth the money say like Nexon EV 2023 compared to the outgoing model.

My Question to Shailesh Chandra Ji, for range anxiety is it possible to provide a backup battery already connected to car, i know this will increase the cost, but maybe with a capacity to run for that extra range to get help kind of battery.....just a thought....you know the biggest challenge in EV is off course distance travel and also charging point waiting period, imagine once the EV increased

imagine a nexon hybrid modified further good, ventilated seats in the back as well, with further good head room for 6.2 feet person in the back , and good storage boot, nobody can beat it , im expecting tata to release 1. global ncap 5 rating sedan hybird like a honda accord touring or toyota avalon 2. a proper 7 seater hybrid like a toyota grand highlander (4*4) with global ncap rating as 5 3. a rockstar variant like a toyota land cruiser 4. a proper on road 600KM Range nexon EV Wish i was there in the requirements and design team :) if tata produces hybird suzuki will be left with no room to stay with tin metal frames
