We own Tata safari and one of the worst manual gear box to handle, I have experienced multiple cars and gear box by driving it but none comes worse to this and vehicle stability is scary too, built is good but rest all is not up to the level.

Who how can you say they have sorted the issues in the new car?, for the steering issue they have saved their face by giving electronic steering, and Adas needs electronic steering. But judgement reserved till the new car runs without atleast 2-3 years. That's why Toyota or Suzuki or hyundai wins, they are not even upto the level of the VW group, atleast in VW group after repeated escalation they tend to do something

I sold my Skoda Laura and bought Baleno…except the safety rating, the car is amazing in every way. Hence, the sales is always on top in India. We Indians are not stupids to go ahead and blindly buying. I drove 50k kms in one year. Service is fantastic and never gave any trouble in one year…its really a bang on for the money you give! I never visited service center for any issues, because I never faced any issue with the car.
