due to this problem I had to return my previous nano which cold not cover 10 thousand kms and had visited workshop more than 25 times . finally I was lucky as company reimbursed me full amount against buying nano cng which is working perfectly past 7 years

Sir, I am facing a problem. Nano base model-2010, only 8000 km till date. Changed battery last year & self switch 3 mths back. Problems: kabhi kabhi self lagene se 'TAK' TAK sound hota hain. Sirji tik tik aawaaz aa rahi hai kabhi kabhi. Pahele toh start hi nehi ho rahi thi, fir mechanic ne auto switch change kiya, fir bhi tik tik kabhi kabhi aur start bhi nehi ho rahi thi aur kabhi kabhi start ho rahi thi. Fir mechanic ne bola sayed starer relay mein problem hai, aur dono wire ko direct kar diya fir bhi same problem. Solution kya hai batayega plz.

I have a Nano LX, 2010, 50,000 km. The complaint is, after parking for 4 to 5 hours, it runs for 2 to 3 km, then the engine switch off, if I try to start, it will start again and after a few seconds, it will shut off again, this will go on for few times, and after that it will run smoothly. Some times, it will slow down (the pick-up will be very low), and it will try to pull by small gerks, and will automatically the pick-up will get normal and it goes smoothly. The Alternator is charging more than 15 volts, which is too much, so I will take it to Auto-electrician and get the Alternator repaired. But what is the problem actually. Before 2 days, I have replaced new Fuel Pump Assembly (Genuine bought from Tata Service Centre, which is expensive Rs. 6,600), but the problem remains the same. I saw your You Tube just now, so I will check for the relevant Fuse, if it is gone, I will change it and see. Pls analyse and reply. Regards.

I have a tata nano lx petrol. Car jerks when I try to accelerate over 40km/h but No Engine Check light On. At idle, engine rpm does not fluctuate (no issue of disturbance). Just change spark plugs, air filter, clean fuel filter but problem persists. At neutral, when I pressed pedal, initially rpm linear then from half to end of the pedal, rpm fluctuate and looks engine have a load. What to do?
