I'm a travel buff, and have wanted to own a SUV from some time. But I'm a newbie at driving. And for me NRG is perfect. NRG's smaller size will actually be easier to operate especially in crowded cities like Delhi, has good ground clearance for outdoors, and ofcourse comes with Tata's superior safe build. Simply the best car under 8L especially for newbies.

According to me, Tiago NRG is almost complete in style with no additional accessories required..better extra 3-5 km extra mileage..Easy in city space.. pocket friendly during service or extra wear and tear compared to Punch.. For Punch..there is a bit more space, micro suv stance, additional 6mm of ground clearance clearance..!

I own Punch Accomplished Variant and getting 17.5kmpl in city, haven't tested on Highway yet. Engine sound is least in any any 3cylinder engine you will ever get. NVH levels are good for this price range, low end torque is highly appreciated with no vibrations at all. Impressive usage of sensors and practicality based vehicle

Thanks for the comparison. After this I got clear idea that punch is the winner. I am booking punch accomplished amt, having all features of nrg and also the better room and safety of punch. Mileage difference is hardly 3 or 4km pl so for better safety of me and my family I can forego this difference and go for punch. However, a higher variant costs 1.2 lakh extra for punch accomplished amt which is hardly 2k per month diff in EMI for 5yrs so I absorbed that much and looked for better safety as a major feature. Rest is all the same. Accomplished is 2nd top model with amt so I only needed is projector headlamps which Tata dealer can fit for 12k.

In Altroz and Tata punch doors can be opened from inside while driving when central lock is enabled so it’s high issue for kids I tried Punch test drive and found this problme only exists in Punch & Altroz Tiago, Tigor, nexon Are having lock knob or leaver for door lock so it’s safe . I love Punch but coz of this issue I am planning for either Tigor vs Tiago NRG
