Comparing to I10, punch height and stability are good..back seat comfort much better.the reason for punch body height.punch well and good to around 600km highway traveling..try punch manual..you can feel engine power from that .

You have the option to put in manual right so you can select manual mode when you feel you require that quickness. Then why your so particular about gear lagging?

I tried that manual option also. That's not fully manual. We don't have Clutch control over ourselves. So you can't able to up the gear certain RPM that was reached. That's completely lagging while driving in hills and overtaking the vehicle.

We can use additional locks to the back door. It's available in back doors. So when you start traveling you should keep your child back seats. Otherwise a better one in this case of all time.

Punch starting from 6.5 lakh. That's the mechanism range also including the basic price. If you buy a creative edition from punch. Then you got same comfort like basic option. So I suggest people. who want to prefer adequate long travel choose the basic mechanism starting from 8 lakh above. From this cost, You will get mid variants from other brands comparing punch creative cost.

I bought a punch CREATIVE manual variant on 23rd Jan,22. So far driven around 3800 km. First service over. Driven to Bangalore for 4 times. Great experience. I used neck pillow and back rest cushion. I am using these two for last 15 years. Didn't feel fatigue or anything. Using cruise control is of great experience and joy. Further when using cruise control you can get good mileage. In all my trips to Bangalore -chennai and back i could get mileage of 18 to 19.5 km, per litre of petrol by using cruise control. Though you can drive above 100, my preference is not to exceed 100 to have a enjoyable drive. In my opinion you can have long drive without much strain in punch. Always use AC, with automatic climate control. Temparature between 24-26 will be ideal.

Nice video of ur experience. I'm glad tat I too had same experience lik u. I'm having 20 years manual driving experience. I drive upto 140km in my previous car Alto. I'm a solo traveler. I planned for harrier. But I love tis mini harrier with orange dual tone. So I bought it for 10.25lak.. Almost covered 3300km in 2months.. my outstation trip covered 1300km in hill station especially Wayanad, Masinakudi (dangerous hairpin bends) & Ooty. Sometimes one way road experience in rice fields, tea estates and forest areas. I had similar experience wat u had with opposite heavy vehicles. Its manageable. I'm fully satisfied with tis car especially in Highway & hill. Initially I had problem with overtaking.. then started learning abt tis AMT. Wat I learnt is tat v shud NOT at all press d accelerator FULLY. If u press fully it downgrade d gear shift n it ll tak tim to pick up. So I stopped pressing fully.. then maintained little pressure over d accelerator tats y it maintain d same gear n can increase d speed wat v expect. I tried both manual and automatic in my AMT during my long outstation drive. Driving AMT differ from our usual MANUAL. Few things v can't apply on AMT & still learning to manage..!! I always keep child lock ON.. so tat noone can open from inside especially on driver or road side for safety purpose. I love special features lik Automatic rain sensor & Automatic spotlight while turning. It helped me a lot during heavy rainfall in Nagarhole Tiger reserve forest area. I don't lik infotainment system especially Bluetooth connected calls.

AMT also had another one mode on manual. We just move the liver up and down gears will be change. That time also gear system expect right rpm to change that. So that's difficult to overtake the vehicle. Finally my suggestion AMT gear box not perform uphill drive for experience drivers. Beginner and intermittent can be adjust this.

Ans: 1. I bought Punch AMT creative on road price on 10.62. I preferred 5 ⭐ build quality comparing to other brand cars. 2. So many people thought tata is not good in quality and mechanism. reason for previous version people experiance. But now tata full focused in quality. So don't bother it older people sounds. Now my personal experience tata quality is good. Upcoming market revalue will be good for tata cars from the Nexon car. 3. You may buy Tata AMT also with mid model. That's very comfortable for your budget and your driving experience.

As you mentioned TaTa services are really worst than other brands.. my friend faced very bad experience through his brand new Altroz. they didn't even respond and respect him properly. It was kind of heart pumping heat moments with the tata service center people. #Tata #Altroz #Chennai

Base varient has fixed head rest and no driver seat height adjustment. So is it possible to buy base varient(considering price of the base to top model)and change the seats like top level in after market/showroom itself? If possible is it a good idea?

Good question bro.. I think seat adjustment starting from 3rd variant. That's super option to drive with clear road view. You can't change the seat after market. But you can place jell seat over your driver seat. So it's increase your seating height. Jell seat available in Amazon.

Amt transmission creat some little noise while gear changing. Because that's auto clutch.So that's taken hight rpm to change next gear. But manual not make any unwanted noise. So you prefer manual in punch.

Little vibrant can feel in AMT version. Due to lagging of clutch operation.
