Batteries degrade. No too long after first use. EVs are too heavy for car parking ramps and may be disallowed. What happens if the battery catches fire, in a garage, or under the apartment building? An EV without power does not freewheel and needs to be physically lifted away to service. How trained is a lay owner at fixing tyre punctures, and what is the price and availability of the self repair kit which is good for one repair only? What is the resale value? How about driving through heavy waterlogging, a reality with the changing weather? What security is provided at charging points? How to charge the car at home, especially in an apartment building? No review I see covers these issues. EVs remain therefore a toy for those with Eldoradian disposable savings and stashaways ...
