Etotha Carnival 2024 would have been memorable if Tate Kwela and Iita yaKadha were still here. Our heritage indeed.

I am not from Namibia, I have no idea of its people or culture. Hearing this I hear of a sorrow and joy that I have never heard before in any music. This is truly beautiful and I hope that not only all Namibians, but all people hear this beautiful music and feel the depth of it. I will listen to this until I die and it will inspire me so, thank you Tate Kwela.

@world Trade This Man is a Legend may his soul rest in peace. He put emotion on the song. It is a song about the difficulty of the liberation strangle in a poetic way. He also mentioned some heroes of the early part of the struggle.

Who is listening to this music in 2021? Namibian history is a painful story especially this time when the economy is nose-diving while in the hands of our own people.

Now this is what you call an artist, just his instruments and he can give you this; his voice and guitar is all he need. Not these modern autotuned and doctored music with zero talent.
