Story Time, at least for the first half of the song, it relates to me perfectly. I had a friend for 15 years. We were rocky here and there, and she backstabbed me and took me for granted and left me behind for another friend she had met in 2015. Months later she apologized, but now in 2024 she met two people and took me for granted and crossed my personal boundaries (that she agreed to never cross) and left me for these people too. She told me she would never do it again and that I had nothing to worry about. We had so much shit together that it’s insane and it’s like a gut punch seeing certain songs, movies or even interests we both were into. Shit hurts.
