is there any shoe cover sold in there, so we can walk in the snow ? because will go to japan on summer, don't want to bring any winter shoe haha
@jptravel848 Жыл бұрын
Hello, as far as I know they don't sell shoe covers. I bought hiking boots for this trip only to find they were barely necessary. As long as you stay on the street where the buses drive, it shouldn't be a problem. The road was free of snow and it was even dry. There is also a path through the snow, although this is optional. However, for a trip to Japan in general and this place in particular, I would recommend to bring a pair of walking- or low cut hiking shoes, that are comfortable to walk and waterproof, since you never know how the weather turns out and whenever I came to Japan for holiday I used to walk alot. hope that helps. 😉

How many minutes in a tunnel ? It make me nervous 😅
@jptravel8489 ай бұрын
Hello, I think it was 10 minutes. unfortunately there is no other way to cross the Mountain. When I feel uncomfortable in a situation like this, I think about the likelihood of something happening. The tunnel was built over 50 years ago and has survived several earthquakes. What is the chance that something will happen in the next 10 minutes? That usually makes me feel safe. I hope it helps 😊

how long does it take to go from tateyama station to kurube dam ?
@jptravel8483 ай бұрын
@@trandaisonvn hello 👋 it took me 2 hours to get there and around 5 hours for the round trip. i wish i had more time though. if you are planning to go, I would recommend to book an early time slot in advance because the ropeway is closing around 4pm. (you can check the timetable on the official website) I didn't book in advance, arrived at tateyama station 9am, but earliest possible time slot was 11am - as a result i didn't have much time at the dam.

What is the actual date filmed?
@jptravel8489 ай бұрын
Hello, it was filmed on May 05th, 2022. You cannot access the road during winter and it is usually open from April 15th to November 30th. It will take until autumn for the snow to completely melt away.
