Thank you for this video! I know it's from 2 years ago, but I just discovered RCMA Foundation last night(idk how I've only now heard of it), and I fell in love with the amount of shades they have. I have light-light Medium Olive skin and it's basically impossible for me to find a foundation that actually matches my skin. And they have a whole series dedicated to Olive skin. I tried this foundation after Wayne Goss reviewed it. Then I saw Tati's review. I like it, but it's not my #1 foundation. I, too, prefer soft matte. Hi Lisa, I have a feeling it's the SPF & primer you used that made the difference in finish. Play with it some more with a mattifying primer and SPF. I think it looks great for the price.

Lisa whatever you put on your face always looks lovely, you might think it looks shiny but on camera it looks just as if you applied it in the morning, well that’s how I’m seeing it through my iPad, my beautiful BKBeauty lipsticks and lip liners arrived yesterday afternoon and I can’t wait to play with them, I swatched them all on my arm and tried one on my lips and they’re absolutely beautiful, I love the magnetic closure on them also, plus they seemed to magnetic all together when I put them on my makeup desk all in a row, I’m sure they’ll be my go to lipsticks from now on through our Summer months here in Australia 🇦🇺, I can’t believe how fast they arrived from the time I ordered them, looking forward to seeing what you have coming out next. Are your shades actually marked backwards or were you mixing them up in the video because N130 should be 2 shades lighter than N230. You keep referring to N230 as the lighter shade. Just wondering if RCMA labeled them incorrectly in your bottles?

Hi Lisa, thanks for this review. Even the dewy look - looks great. If you’re approaching your monthly menstral cycle then hormones will affect how your skin looks. I’ve noticed personally that I’ll need less of my creams and foundations when I’m near my time of the month. Also it would be helpful if you can share what the temperature in Texas is when you’re testing out products. Humidity definitely plays a role in how that foundation sits. Take care.

I'm glad I did not splurge on this one..! 😃 I was going to buy it when I watched Wayne Goss review about it, but as I was unsure which shade to choose, I did not go through with my purchase. And now seeing you mixing two shades, I am positive that the shade I was going to get would had been wrong... 🤷‍♀️ Matte but radiant..? Too many touch ups throughout the day (which I never do)..? Nop..! Too tricky foundation to deal with for me..!

Thank you for testing this foundation. I also saw Tati’s video and seriously thought about purchasing but she has different skin than I do. I’m more like your skin type and live one state above you so same climate. I believe I’ll have to keep looking for a less radiant formula. Lisa says L’Oréal Freshwear Foundation is a dupe for the LaMer. I have never tried the LaMer but I really like the L’Oréal Freshwear Foundation. It’s a perfect every day foundation. Quick to blend out and skin like.

I think, for me, it's one I'd have to play with to find the perfect combination. Because I have texture, I steer away from luminous foundations and lean more towards the soft mattes and skinlike finishes. I am interested in the concealer though, who doesn't want/need a full coverage. If it is the Elta MD sheer sunscreen, that could be the reason. I have that one and the tinted one, and I do notice a difference when I wear the sheer, non-tinted sunscreen. Love the sunscreen, but you really have to let it "set" before applying makeup.

I would stay away from applying any face products with oil before you apply this foundation. Your face looked really glowy like you had a moisturizing situation going on before you applied. I would definitely use a primer next time to mattify. :) Thank you for this review! ♥

Tati made me buy this foundation too, can't say what she said is true. She claims that it has a thin consistency which is far from true, it's not as easily blendable as she says either. Lisa .... it's nothing like a serum foundation at all, it is heavy! Btw I am a make up artist and have used dozens upon dozens of foundations therefore have a fair bit of knowledge when it comes to make up.

I did the same thing, bought it as soon as she said she loved it except I bought samples because I wasn’t sure of color and I hated it. I tried wearing it a few times as I was trying to find a perfect formula for my daughters wedding, Not sure what I did wrong but I did not like it at all. It looked so heavy and seemed to emphasize everything.
