I used to work at a Baskin Robbins, and they have “31” in the title because when they originally launched they had 31 flavors so there would be one for every single day of the month. I was shocked too because the one I worked always displayed 36 flavors, but now they have thousands of flavors total that they cycle out and thank you for coming to my Ted Talk

The Ulta rewards program is SUCH a better value compared to Sephora's in my opinion! You get points that basically just turn into cash back. I would so much rather hoard my points and then be able to redeem $15 off a purchase I actually want rather than have to choose from teeny tiny makeup samples that you can sometimes get for free as a gift with purchase anyway.

sephora doesn't charge shipping if you are rouge or you can purchase free shipping for a year for $10. Ulta doesn't carry as many brands as sephora in store. There are so many items online only. Ulta carries less natural and k beauty brands and they carry significantly less skincare than Sephora. I agree that Ulta rewards program is better points wise but If you aren't shopping for hair care or drug store it's hard to find much variety outside of that in store. I cant justify getting something on sale and then paying equal to or more for shipping. Also although you can get points quickly I feel Ulta encourages people to buy more crap than sephora does. With 3x +points on select items I see people buying things they dont really need or want to get the triple points for a product they actually want. Plus without being able to get samples you have to buy and return items to Ulta if you dont like it which can be a real pain.

Don't get me wrong, I love and shop at both and many products can be found at both, but it's like Walmart vs Target. Sometimes I just need to run in and grab something, sometimes I need better items, better selection, and a better shopping experience. And, if you like to buy store brands, Ulta's branded make-up, brushes, etc. can't hold a candle to Sephora's. Sephora palettes and brushes are fantastic and comparable to high end. Ulta's are pretty much crap, with a lower quality than any drug store. Apples and oranges.

I thought I was dreaming when u were talking about Baskin Robbins, I’ve been working there for nearly 4 years and I’ve been watching ur videos for 2 years now. Yeah and the reason a lot of stores don’t have 31 flavours is b/c of the crappy spacing. Also! Its 31 because the original BaskinR originated with 31. Today we have over 300 different flavours! As a counselor I can vouch for adequate sleep and sleep hygiene. Melatonin is produced behind your eyes and if you’re on your phone right before bed, you won’t have enough built up for a restful nights sleep. I also recommend blue light reflecting glasses, you can find them on amazon, that also helps with building melatonin if you want to be on your phone right before bed. Hope that gives you some ideas ❤️ loved the video
