pikapanda64 Yeah Tatiana's fake english accent is pretty bad TBH, I laughed a lot because she sounded australian most of the time LMAO. But Jordan always sounded LEGIT english. I mean seriously! When I found out he was not English I was like WHAT.

+liveyourdreams111 Well you have to remember that she is playing a character that was born in the UK, raised by an Irish woman, and lived most of her life in Canada, so her accent is influenced by all these things. It's like a weird mix. I think she tries to take that into account.

The first time I heard it, it was in a short clip. He was saying, "It's Delphine. She's got baggage." That's as fake as he ever sounds, but unfortunately, it did sound a little fake to me, so I knew from the start.

Tasha Dillard never heard any of them do an English accent, but i'll take your word for it as I don't watch a lot of films. tbh I've heard a lot of terrible accents but never many good ones from non-brits from English speaking countries

Mmm yeah it's hard to pull off. I can usually tell when an American is trying to pull of an English accent. Only few can do it convincingly. A lot of people from other countries can pull off American accents pretty good though , ironically lol

I really, really liked their answer on the question about cultural background of the characters. As an immigrant who used to live in the States, and who now lives in the UK, I really wish people who are native to a given country would have the same understanding of "outsiders" as Tatiana and Jordan have, because what they are saying is spot on!

We can tell you that she puts A LOT of time into each script. In our chat, she did mention the difficulty in stepping into multiple roles. How she does it, is the beauty of ti. She is a very talented actress!

Their advice at the end was so great! It can be applied to anything really! I am an undergrad with dreams of getting a PhD and every once in a while I fall out of love with my subject just bc it's hard and complex and academia is a lot of pressure. But it's okay! And I have to have interests/a life outside of it. Awesome people, these two.

The show's amazing so far. The latest episode blew my mind. Tatiana's does such a great job portraying all those characters, they all feel unique in their own way. Call me crazy, but the soccer mom is my favorite for some reason ;) And Felix is just so much fun to watch.

Evelyne Brochu's first language is French, but she is perfectly bilingual to the point of not having an accent when she speaks English. This is an interesting situation in that her English is so good, that she has to deliberately put on a French accent for her character. Read her bio.

That's so strange to me, I knew immediately. But maybe you're just from an area unaware of the accent. I have been asked if I'm Australian before so there might be a slight hint of it as that's what most people confuse her accent with. It's definitely an English accent though :)
