It’s not a guarantee. My mom used to teach figure skating. Not all skaters are able to transition through puberty into adolescence and adulthood. The changes in body mass, build, etc affects every part of skating. Not all skaters, regardless of how good they were when young, can recover and adapt. They can’t jump, they can’t spin, etc because the gravitational forces change.

She’s really good in general tbh. I know that there are competitive skaters 3x her age who could skate circles around her, but the average person can’t put a leg up as high as she does at 2:38 on stable ground, let alone sliding across ice.

What an amazingly talented young lady; it's obvious that she's put in a lot of effort into honing her craft! Her love of skating shines through. I hope she holds onto that love and remembers to have fun! More importantly, I hope she gets time to just be a kid. As she gets older I hope she's able to easily and successfully navigate the physical changes that come along with growing up since that can impact things like center of gravity, etc. With proper coaching and support she has a bright future ahead, whether she decides to stick with skating or pursue other passions. The discipline required to perform at this level will serve her well in life no matter what she chooses to do. Bravo, young lady; you're already a shining star!
