I am going to be rocking Varga at BCS Pasadena in March. I enjoy the simplicity of the deck and its power. I do want to build Rezael and / or Leviadras since I like the playstyle of both, but yeah, they are pricey decks.

Varga draws so much it’s actually wild 😭 think it’s a good choice tbh! Some folks were knocking it down but I actually think the deck is 100% a contender

(I know not out yet) but what about deck like "the blood"? Which can bind your opponent's pieces.

The blood is still rg centric deck, and the bind is determined if your opponent let their rg gets hit. So a good player will guard for the rg if it is necessary for their follow up turn. Also the blood does not have hand to guard, it is a more aggro shojodoji

Thank you for the video, just gained a new subscriber! I am newer to VG and I currently play Gandeeva, with the intention of playing Gandeeva Masques once it'll be out. What do you think about Gandeeva's mu vs Levidras?

Funnily enough I just got into gandeeva last month! So far it’s been .. if gandeeva goes first and finds that g2 that restands something with the soul blast then the deck feels really strong, I have noticed going 2nd it’s rough right now because gandeevas hand is really fake with G3s and not much shield coming from the units being run, along with orders etc Haven’t tried masques yet tho! But so far ya I think it can get by going 1st into Levi but going 2nd I do think it’s brutal.

I have played the Masques version a bit online, and I thought it could be fine since you can Persona ride turn 3 and since Levidras struggles more early, that could be a problem. But I would love to hear more about it once you have tested the deck more. Thank you for your opinion; there's one guy at my locals playing Levidras haha

Man Levidras is certainly one of the decks of all time XD. Cant wait to play a to against it in Dear Days 2/against friends, since this matchup still eludes me XD

sadly it only wipes out the markers on the levi's board so for that turn they can still draw when rg attacks. It does bother their following turns but if the levidras survived after a 5 stack stra, game's probably over by then

@ everyone I see talk about the deck does nothing but complains about it, they just want to axe it rather than learn the match up so it gets annoying seeing people over hype it when it loses to things like Prison, Eva, Varga, Fenelle. There’s plenty of options for it if they just play the match up correctly like you said in your video. Love the content just need people to understand it’s only over performing because everyone is playing it due to popularity, people can beat it. That’s all.

@@FoolishDecreeGaming That's a better response - I was confused at first, thanks for breaking it down :) I'll be honest, I think the biggest issue for the EN side is just lack of events, so the events we do have really weigh down whats considered strong, since there is only a few shots to really try and perform well under so folks take the meta in a way where they want something gone almost instantly, when the reality is we just have few events to really let decks shine or let a meta do its thing or give time for people to adapt.

@ the game was such a grind fest that it got to a point of Deck out for the Levi player.
