Welcome to the club, I took my black diamond to the Pines in New Jersey, going through trails and mud holes with six other trucks including my sons Badlands Sasquatch which had no problems, lost voltage, disconnect the battery while it was running and it's stalled right out which tells me alternator, if they weren't so expensive I would've just bought one and put it in myself, But since it's on the factory warranty it's now sitting at the dealership waiting for delivery of a brand new alternator, whoever designed this to put the alternator towards the bottom of the engine should be tarred and feathered and then fired

Have you looked under the hood? Where else could you put it?

Yeah it’s horrible place to put them, unfortunately I don’t see a better place for it though

@@EvilleTruck What year is the Tatmobile? They put a better alternator shield on the later ones, apparently.

@@swooshdave it’s a 21 we replaced the shield with the alternator, the new one covers more for sure but still doesn’t seem great

Yeah I wasn’t feeling too good🥺, sorry to miss it. We got a new alternator in , they are not exactly fun to swap out

Remind me to post some video of driving down the interstate and getting a flat tire…I can do a follow-up video of getting the tire replaced.
