For those of you wondering "Why does Karas get zero health AND zero damage? What's the point of that?" Well, when TvC first debuted... Karas did to the game what Leeroy did to Tekken 7. It wasn't uncommon to see 7 Karas in the Top 8 of a Japanese tournament in 2008. So they nerfed him in early 2009... and he get kept being the best in the game. So when the game came over to the US in 2010, they nerfed him straight to hell to be safe. The fact that Supra can still use him well in tournaments is a testament to how absolutely broken the character was.

I didn't even know that karas was that good when the game first released in Japan. I hated playing against zero in the US release though.

I love how varied all the teams are. I get so frustrated how this and MvCI , my favorites in terms of gameplay namely cuz I like duo tag team games more than trios, ended up not being as popular due to other reasons. This game REALLY deserves a rerelease (though unlikely considering the nightmare it would be with copyrights)

Cause it was only on the Wii. If this game had been a multiplat release, it would’ve definitely had a longer life. A Ps3/PC release of this would’ve definitely had helped.

In Dolphin you can set the program to preload all shaders when it boots a ROM. This means Dolphin doesn't have to go looking for them, and it greatly reduces stutter.

Probably not bc i heard there were issues with the tatsunoko characters licenses with capcom years ago. Plus the game sales were low. Probably due to being a wii exclusive. I would have love to see it on playstation platform.

I finally got a computer I can competently use Dolphin on. Gotta get it and make a return to TvC. My skills are super-rusted, but really would like to revive them and bring my Doronjo back to life. =/ EDIT - And yeah, I'll say it too: PTX-40A was my secondary outside my main team. Was darn good with him and have no problem with Giant matches. I only wish people got better with it. There are quite some hype anti-giant tech.
