Albums getting re-released for one. The first of 3 I pre-ordered (For You LP) is scheduled to arrive next week. Fingers crossed Amazon isn’t BS and cancels pre-order at the last hour. For You is officially sold out even in Japan.

Best part about music is that anyone can make it. Give it a shot, play around, have fun... thats really where most of the world's greatest music comes from.

Hidehumi Toki on saxophone 2:14 and Jun Aoyama on drums 0:19 and are both famous musicians. Both of them have passed away, but they certainly live on in this masterpiece. Even now, I am blown away by the sound of the two of them. thank you! サックスの土岐英史さんもドラムの青山純さんもこの世を去ったけど、こうして名曲の中で確かに生き続けている。今でも2人の音色にしびれます。ありがとう。

I strongly agree. The greatness of the Japanese session men of The 80's forever engraved in this album. Not to mention TATSURO YAMASHITA's own guitar cutting and producing. 強く同意します。80年代の日本のセッションマンの素晴らしが永遠に刻まれています。勿論、TATSURO YAMASHITA自身のギターカッテイング、プロデュースは言うまでもありませんが。
Absolutely beautiful video! Great concept carried out well with simple settings, warm lighting, and perfectly captured effects. I was a little confused by the general sound of the tune in contrast with today's pop. Then, from a brief skimming of the comments I found out its an 80's song. It's no wonder why I like it... I was very into 80's British and American dance music in another lifetime. I still love it today. Thank you for posting this video. I hope to find more like it.

It’s the first song from his album “For You,” which is amazing from start to finish! Unfortunately, Tatsuro Yamashita’s music is difficult to find in the US, because it’s not on streaming and not on KZbin either. But he’s one of the best in this genre, which is called City Pop! Also, if you can find it, I recommend listening to his song Love Space. It’s magical

The Japanese were on an entirely different level with their music in the 80s and 90s and into the 2000s I firmly believe if there was a modicum of effort to popularize it in the west it would have taken the music scene by storm. And now look, 40 years later it is suddenly the most popular genre on the internet and recognized as one of the highest quality and refined music genre's of the modern era. Weird how that all works, isn't it? "City Pop" will never die. Look into the "Future Funk" genre as well, modern remixes of these wonderful tracks, I'm sure you'll find something you like!
Can’t believe this song got a music video after so many years!!! This song is so nostalgic for me literally a childhood song. I still listen to him and other Japanese artists
