This is a potent reminder of how Bob Barker was the original master of his era: always poised, smart, funny, well paced. Over the next two decades he got even more playful and seasoned.

Man! I am right with you! I used to go to crescent heights elementary school in the 70’s and l used to get home and watch Tattletales at 2:30, then watch Match Game (whatever year it was) at 3:00. Good good memories of being a child in the 70’s!!! Let’s go back in time when things were great!

Bert was a class act all the way and also he also mentored one of heroes from Nickelodeon’s Double Dare with Marc Summers and the day Bert collapsed and ultimately died of brain cancer, Bert gave Marc important career advice: if you don’t want to do it and you don’t have to do it to keep your house… don’t do it.

Good luck trying to find a specific episode of Tattletales. Putting the episode date in the video name serves no useful purpose, unless someone in this world has the guests for each date memorized. The episode date should be in the description, NOTT the video name. The person who uploaded these videos was either computer illiterate and/or too flippin stupid to include the name of the 3+ weekly guest celebrities, in the video NAME, and that makes doing searches for a TattleTales episode with a specific celebrity, damn near impossible. And the person in charge of this mess, apparently was also a dimwit. This is actually just common sense, not computer expertise. WRZ 2020-08-18

Jack Narz was a veteran game show host and worked exclusively for Mark Goodson/Bill Toddman--in the late 60's-early 70's to cut costs Narz hosted "Beat the Clock" in Montreal Canada--Narz lived in Los Angeles and had to fly to Montreal frequently to tape the show--ultimately he found that his salary barely covered the cost of the flights and when Goodson/Toddman refused to compensate him for the costs he quit the show and Gene Wood took over as host

David Steinle Yes, as of 02/23/2018, he is one of the few survivors of the first wave of game show hosts (1950-1966). The others are Peter Marshall, Tom Kennedy (Jack Narz' brother, born James Narz) , Bob Eubanks, Wink Martindale and "Jeopardy!" announcer Johnny Gilbert. Barker will be 95 on 12/12/2018, Gilbert will be 94 on 07/13/2018, Marshall will be 92 on 03/30/2018, Kennedy will be 91 on Monday (02/26/2018), Martindale will be 85 on 12/04/2018 and Eubanks just turned 80 on 01/08/2018. Unless someone can truly correct me, both Gilbert and Kennedy also have the distinction of being the only surviving game show announcers from that era as well.

1988?? Convy was still speaking lovingly of Anne then. They were divorced in 1990; he did not immediately rush into remarriage; he did not remarry until 1991, 5 mo. before he died. Why he dumped Anne, I don’t know, possibilities that occur are his seeming obsession with hiding his age as he grew older and/or personality changes from the growing brain tumor.

In this case, Jack & Doe (red section) won $1,350 for their rooting section. There were 100 people in their section. Therefore, each member of the red rooting section received $13.50 or 1% of $1,350. The yellow and blue sections each won $200; so each member of their respective rooting section won $2 or 1% of $200.

They taped 5 shows at once so their cut may have been $20- $50, depending how many times their section won.

They should sign an international treaty at the next G7 meeting banning "Card Sharks" from ever being broadcast on television again anywhere in the world. I want to bash my head into the wall watching that show. They took all the good shows off BUZZR TV 2 years ago.

Ya know, this game could WORK here these days. With the social distancing provided via those video screens, and the times we live in, celebs would have PLENTY to say.... Updates to our society, FB questions.... Even use regular contestants....But would ABC do it?
@dannyboy34677
@dannyboy34677 2 жыл бұрын
The thing today is that celebs are a little more guarded in what they say. You have Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok to get their messages out. Yes, a game like this could work today if it’s done right.

knows the hosts don't wear their street clothes, when taping. If they do a week's worth of shows in a day(tape three, dinner break then, tape two more), they don five outfits, none, of which is how they came to work. Fun question but, not happening.

What, they don't say "booty" enough for your tastes? Young people today have no idea what the art of flirting and suggestion is. They are crass, classless, artless, witless, blunt, gross, disgusting and sickening. The vomit-inducing rap music culture of the 1990s brought this on and sadly the idiocy and tastelessness spread throughout the rest of the culture.
