My tongue piercing nearly frickin' killed me... my experience was the same as yours... crazy pain and crazy healing time with much blood. It healed eventually tho... and had it for about 13 years... i don't have it anymore tho. Took it out 2 years ago. Now I'm just happy with the stretched ears.

I retired my tongue piercing 2 years ago after having it for 20 years. It was 10 gauge.(I stretched it). It healed fine, but I just got tired of it. The hole is still there. I can put a 14 gauge bar in it still, but not gonna have it any more. (Jan Griffiths).

My parents hated the fact I was getting my neck tattooed and wanted me to get my hands done since my knuckles and double knuckles are already tattooed. Also for face tattoos I got mine in pink in order that I could cover them up with regular foundation. 🖤🖤🖤

Had my tongue piercing for 14 years, never had any issues besides the initial swelling. Never had any infections, never had the stereotype that metal will crack your teeth. I've had a few come lose in my mouth randomly, but that's on me. I don't see myself getting rid of it. I barely notice it and most of the time I forget it's there. It's def one of those things you just get used to.

I have my septum and snakebites done and I don't have a high pain tolerance. I was worried about them but they were nowhere near as bad as I thought they would be, the initial pain of getting pierced lasts just a couple seconds, the most annoying part is just dull throbbing that lasted like 2-3 days and I just took a pain killer and was set. This is just my experience but if you really want a piercing, it's worth it. 🖤

It sounds like you got your tongue pierced wrong. Cuz that happened to me and the swelling wouldn't recede. :( I ended up taking it out and then repierced sometime later, but this time slightly lower on the tongue than before and it healed so much better! Love your body mods!

Im stuck on 26mm with my ears and I so regret stretching to fast. I was on 30mm for a good 2 years. But then I had my baby and forgot to put my plugs in and such and the went down to 26. Now I have too much scar tissue to get them back to 30 :( I'm probably going to get them cut up to a bigger size or have my scars removed so I can keep stretching myself. My goalsize is 40mm. And also want to be covered in tattoos. I have quite a few but having a kid is 1 expensive and 2 dangerous to fresh tattoos and piercings hahahah

I can related when it came to my tongue piercing. I hated the healing time when it first got it because I was talking funny and people at work made fun of me for it, so I took it out. A year later though, I got it done again and I absolutely love it now. I bite my tongue a lot so the healing wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been. But I understand why you wouldn’t want a tongue piercing. Until you’re used to it, it can be a giant pain the arse. Btw, this is just my own experience and I absolutely love your content. 🖤🖤🖤

It sounds to me like the peircer used a bar that was too long. ... and if the swelling didn't subside after a week or so, then it was best to take the peircing out.

Ha! I've got a Rabbit theme to my tattoo collection. So I have Plusel and Minun on my thigh. Bloody and armed, of course. They fit in well with my theme.
