Just bought my first Versace Eros 3.4 from Amazon. Trust me, I was VERY skeptical about buying it online especially since it took a bit of time to arrive. Thank God I found this video because I wouldn't have been able to tell if what I bought was real or fake. As soon as I unwrapped the plastic I could already smell the cologne from the box! Everything you described checked out and I definitely got the real deal! I'm waiting for the right time to wear it, likely Spring and Summer. Thanks for your help!

Eros works in the winter as well. It does have some sweetness and some punch power to make it work in the colder weather. I would not wear Eros in the summer, it's a bit too much for me.

It's been 6 years since this video posted, and the copycats have now become virtually indistinguishable from the authentic product. It's actually scary how close they get them to the real deal. Even little details like the Medusa head inside the bottle cap are now included and all the gold printing is legit without any scratches, smearing, or bleed outs. Beware out there.

Just got my first ever Versace Eros and my first ever high end perfume. I was so excited when it got delivered but at the same time I’m a bit worried that what if I got the fake one because I only ordered it online- a bit risky especially I’m not quite sure if the boutique where it came from is a reputable one. I just trusted my guts based on the good reviews, however I certainly know that a good thread of reviews sometimes could be deceiving. I ordered anyway😂 But seeing this video? I’m super relieved that, yeah, the one I just got is an authentic one. Packaging☑️ font☑️ color☑️ the medusa head print inside the cap☑️ and the smell? Goodness! I have no fake version to compare it with but the smell is divine! I really can’t describe it like a legit perfume collector with its head, heart and base notes but all I can say is-It smells expensive and devilishly premium. By just opening the box alone, the smell is so sexy. I’m so happy I made the right decision and thanks for the video. It was of great help.

Cantos The label at the bottom of the bottle surprised me on the quality it had. The bottle also looks good. The rest can not fool anyone, the printing is too obvious, the smell has a mustard feel in the background, chipped coating at the top of the cap.

The backside of the bottle is actually very well done. But the misprinting of the embossed parts is very sloppy. Summed up you can say that some of the involved guys did a "good" job, but the ones responsible for the printing suck.

I was told that the dot on the inside of the cap was a big sign that its fake but your authentic bottle also has that dot on the inside of the cap. Mine also has the blue atomizer, like your authentic bottle, the cap is heavier, but it just smells different on the dry down. The seller I bought it from claims that this is because he has had it for over 5 years and never used it, do you think this affected the cologne? The average shelf life of a fragrance is only 3-5 years, just wondering your opinion, please help if you can!

I'm sorry to report that the fakes are indeed getting better. Got lured in by the lower price on eBay (we are in the holidays after all, and I thought Versace was getting rid of old stock). Got a 100 ml for $31 (too good to be true, I know). It's been 6 years since this video posted, and the copycats have now become virtually indistinguishable from the authentic product. It's actually scary how close they get them to the real deal. Even little details like the Medusa head inside the bottle cap are now included and all the gold printing is legit without any scratches, smearing, or bleed outs. There are telltale signs that mine is a fake though. With myy box the Medusa logo was "worn out" (the nose and lips were not visible). The Medusa glass sculpt on the bottle itself is also deformed, the nose and eyes lack depth and features. The sprayer hole is white as opposed to black. The QR code on the box looks worn. Beware out there.

It’s missing the lettering at the bottom of the bottle that’s says “black” or “eau”... and the front of the box labeling didn’t match the one shown on the Gucci website. Plus it was from a selling which I couldn’t be sure about. So im not taking any chances. I’ll get my $70 back and go buy D&G light blue instead. Big bottle on Walmart.com is only $63 right now. And as long as it’s says sold and shipped by Walmart, I’ve gotten authentic products from them before. Only when it’s a third party seller am I skeptical

Eros was launched in 2012. If you found a 2011 batch it should be manufactured in the last months of 2011. Make sure to check the batch code before buying. If you buy from an authorised retailer it should be ok.

Keep in mind I never saw 2011 batches of Eros. I remember Eros beeing launched in the second half of 2012 so it is a bit weird you found 2011 batch.

Question! I bought this fragrance for a really low price, the guy who was selling it said it was a tester so he could get it for cheap. I got it in person and I was like lemme check this shit. I go on this video and i see that everything is the same except the atomizer, which is lined up correctly but is not black. Instead it is this grey or kind of white color. The performance I get is VERY good. At least 12 hours. When I first sprayed it on I smelled alcohol so I was not sure if it was real or fake. Help!

I bought this online recently. Everything you've discribed about the original bottle matches what I have. However I am still not convinced if my bottle is authentic. Mainly because the fragrance itself seems to have a 'cheap' smell. It's very strong and musky. Anyone else with a similar experience?

Got my bottle today and I spotted some manufacturing issues such as a line on the side of the bottle. However, the automazer and the juicy is strong and I tested it on my hand, lasted for 7 hours and still going, I even wash my hand and the smell is still there. The Versace head is in the bottle cap but the cap is not exactly fit on the automizer and will fall if turned up down. Checked the batch code on check fresh and it said that is from 2019. I don't know what to believe, I paid like 45 bucks for 100 ml and I feel like even though it may seem like a fake one, the juice is the same as the one that I checked in retail shops, also the box and the bottle correspond exactly with the original one showed in this video.

Thanks for the upload brother. I got a box of Versace Eros EDP and when I check the batch code it comes up as a future batch code 04-18-2022 but after watching your video and looking everything over my bottle checks out as authentic so it has to be a problem with the checkfresh website or the Versace codes themselves. But all else checks out perfect.

@@shtarker6752 it's not a rule that says that eau de parfum lasts more than eau de toilette. A lot of times eau de toilette lasts more than some of the eau de parfum. Check some Armani or Tom Ford sweet fragrances. I do not know you age but for younger men, Paco Rabanne has sweet fragrances that last.

Anthony J is your batch embossed at the bottom of the box or is it printed ? From what I remember the older batches were embossed.

Uh oh, it's printed. But from what I hear 2015 was a reformulation as well, 2014 was the last batch that wasn't reformulated. Even the cap has the versace face inside of it and the box even looks the same as yours as well as the bottle, smells the same as the one i tested at macys but that one did last a bit longer not a big difference tho. I feel like their tester bottles are always a bit stronger and longer lasting.

I got one 100 ml bottle and few sprays last half a day and even on clothes for days but then i got 200 ml bottle and it smells like versace for first few mins and then you cant smell anything. I tried spraying it lil more then normal today and now scent is gone within an hour lol ...Just realize i got the fake one

Don't bother with fakes. Does not matter if the smell is close to the authentic. Fakes don't follow any healthcare legislation. The chemical compounds inside fakes are a hazard to human health.

There are many fake counterfeiters that manufacture the same fragrance, some do a better job than others copying the fragrances. Either way, don't use fakes. They don't follow any health care legislation. You can get skin deseases or respiratory problems using fakes, the chemical compounds inside the fakes are not omologated by any legal authority.
