My question is related to Shree Ganapati Mantra ॐ गं गणपतये नमः in this mantra I want to know the correct pronunciation of the letter गं is it Gam or Gan or gung pls explain.

Both gam ganaptayr and ganganapataye are correct. In one we haven’t joined the words. In the second we have joined and made a sandhi.

I checked the verse / shloka in the Brahmavaivarta Purana, but it explains something different fromwhat you are saying. for instance, yo are using the word A (long prounounciation) that means the slaying of 'durgaha'. But in the book it is not a long A, it is short A. Onl in the next shloka it explains what A (lon pronounciation) is explained with the long A means.
