Sometimes fathers also don't understand what their daughter feels. I don't have a mom since a very young age , I live with my dad and brother.. many times incidents like this have happened to me. For eg One of them is Like there is a shop near my house,from where my brother and dad buys groceries like milk, bread etc. And that shopkeeper and his son both gaze at girls. So I'd always try to avoid going near that shop. But many times my father asks like why don't u go to that particular shop why do u have to look for another when it is nearby. And many things like this happens all the time and my dad has no clue..and scolds me instead, for not being social and friendly to everyone 😔 It's very important for a child especially a girl to have a mom during their upbringing 😔
