When I attended Shadsworth Secondary Modern School it had a wonderful, fully equipped Stage with Lighting, Scenery, Curtains and many plays and shows were put on by us pupils. Has this school still got a functioning stage with great modern stage lighting and fully functioning wings, dressing rooms and understage space?

WHY? This school in the 1950s and 1960s was a progressive, mixed boys and girls first class school. It prepared pupils for the real world and gave us a sound moral consciences and a highly developed sense of right and wrong. It had true English values and was tolerant, inclusive and very well attended. I know, I attended this school for 5 years and my nephews and nieces also attended. It had high standards, not blind strict doctrine and was staffed by caring, kind and tolerant Tutors. I felt safe and secure. It had no high security fences or bars on the classroom windows. Is it still a similar school to the one I knew?

Why are boys separated from girls in schools in 2017? What is the reason? The world is made up of every kind of Human Being.

The problem here is that these schools need to be mixed. And by not doing so not one person is suspicious as to how and why the grades are supposedly so high. From my experience with dealing with similar situations elsewhere, they promote a highly collectivist culture and cheat like hell..........and oh the exam boards know about ALL of this but turn a blind eye because they would lose their funding.
