Thanks for showing off Taunton! I was raised here, as was my mother. The thing about Taunton is that people always want to leave, but something almost always draws them back! It’s definitely better off than it was 15-20 years ago.

Your right I was raised in Taunton as my parents and grandparents when I was younger I moved out of Taunton a few times but about a year later I start missing our great lil sh;t hole of a city and I’m right back to Taunton but for real I don’t know what era you grow up in Taunton but before everyone got hooked on o c Taunton was a good lil city I had a lot of fun as a teen a lil to much fun but could always find something to do as a teen

I used to live in Taunton, now I live in the town right next to it raynham and Taunton does not have any seriously bad hoods or even hoods at all I hate it when people call a nice place a hoods

It's in the damn name Taunton to taunt someone get it I'm still stuck here man so many sad stories nobody wants to know the score anymore it's like there just waiting but for what? I love raynham alot better the flea market there makes me money big time but that's only on Sundays the other 6 days are like when is it gonna be Sunday again. I see people all the time their from Taunton that are in my age range and none of them talk to me or act like they remember me but I remember them and I can call them by their first and last names that's how good my memory is. Maybe that's just a side effect of living here what a shame.

Taunton has every type of police unit a city with hoods has & for good reason. A dude got shot dead broad daylight on the street at 3:51 last year in retaliation for another murder. The dude who died had only been out of jail for a month after beating a murder case. If Taunton was just The Green, Weir Village, & Whittenton it would have the second highest crime rate in MA. But East Taunton & the Oakland area help even it out. & you can look that up on any crime statistics that’s a fact. I’ve lived in Dorchester,Chelsea, & Everett. & some parts of Taunton are just as bad. But it’s big enough to where you can live in an area that doesn’t make it seem bad one bit. There are beautiful neighborhoods & dangerous ones.

Taunton is a normal New England small city, it has it's problems for sure but it's not that bad.

It's a ugly city but very safe to live in .there are no hoods lol.go to Boston to see what a hood actually is
