I'm portuguese and I enjoyed watching this gameplay video. It makes me want to buy this game, despite the fact that my PC wouldn't be able to run it. I'm a Rome: Total War fan, but Portugal (Lusitânia) isn't featured in that game, which is sort of disappointing given the fact that we gave the Roman Empire a run for its money back in the day. :) As for a new challenge: what about starting as any of the former portuguese colonies and conquer Portugal, along with all of said colonies (plus all of Africa and Europe, if you want to)? There are some rules to it, though: - You must attack and conquer Portugal first; - Your ideology must NOT be fascist; - Being an ally of other colonies is allowed, but you'll have to conquer them eventually; - No puppet nations, unless they're outside of Portugal's former sphere of influence; - Bonus points for taking out our allies (Great Britain).

Sobre os lusitanos, adoro-os e temos o seu sangue, mas não te preocupes coa sua fraca aparência em jogos porque no fundo era só um grupo de tribos coa mesma cultura e etnia, com tradições completamente diferentes das nossas. Isso não quer dizer que não tenhamos laços seus. Efectivamente o espírito guerreiro e o combate de guerrilha ficou-nos no sangue como se viu mil vezes, mas não te sintas ofendido se os lusitanos não aparecem nos jogos, até porque eles não eram uma identidade colectiva como somos nós portugueses desde a nossa fundação 😉

I don't know if you know this but if you're at war with someone who hasn't called in their puppets the game actually lets you just declare war on their puppets. Example: 29:04 when Denmark hadn't been called in yet you can just click Declare War. Don't know if you didn't know this or if you were just not declaring war on purpose.

As Hungary, reform the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and then puppet/ally every European country (whichever you like more, as long as they're becoming non-aligned/empires), with only lend-leased/captured equipment. If you ever take this challenge, I recommend using the Hungarian Flavor mod. Really makes Hungary historic and fun at the same time!
