The main points of going to war for Hitler were two things: - Go east to attain the necessary resources to establish autarky (ideological) - Pillage resources from countries to prevent economic collapse (practical) If there was a greater Poland-Lithuania, or anything like that, Hitler would try to go through it or attack it. He wouldn't want a people he viewed as Untermenschen as his ally unless he could be assured that he could double-cross them later. Given non-interventionist France and England, even if Pol-Lith was allied to Hitler, he would most likely either tear up the alliance and steamroll right through Pol-Lith, or try to execute some sort of takeover from within to redraw the borders to his liking and take all the economically relevant resources for Germany. Either way, he would do his best to go through Pol-Lith, or whatever was between him and his delusional dreams of a racial utopia with land in the east, and draw up plans to invade the USSR. Hitler just spontaneously attacking France and the Benelux countries in 1940 is just absurd; he has no motive to do a thing like that that comes anywhere near his motivations for striking east. Maybe he would try to get Alsace-Lorraine and Luxembourg as part of his greater Germany if he won (as he believed that, due to Jewish capital running their societies, the liberal and democratic countries of western Europe would be collapsing in a few decades anyway), but in no way would attacking France be a first priority for him.

Amazing video thank you Taureor!! I love watching your mass infantry tactics it's a refreshing change from other more balanced approaches relying heavily on tanks and air. I got a campaign suggestion for a future video: play as Belgium, form Leo Belgicus then the European Union! It's actually a pretty fun and dynamic campaign to do because you have access to colonial manpower and an almost decent industry base early on. Going brown early on gives you the good part of the general focus tree and all the wars you need then bouncing back democratic allows you to form the EU which is completely overpowered. There are also different ways of doing it. I think the "meta" way is to rush down the Allies with a bath tub or paratroopers tactic then turn on the axis. The way I did it however was to first fight off and capture Germany, build up, attack the allies, form the EU and rolfstomp the Soviets while still at war with the non European continental allies. In any case thanks for your videos they are always a treat!

Love the intro. Also try playing Mexico. The aztect chain can be used by every ideology without a civil war for democracy or unaligned. It's a fun country to play. Try making a greater mexico. Wich is basically it's borders before Texas and California broke free. Also it's really a prefence but I prefer if you do non historical.
