Taurina Spa (Australian ad) 1981

Taurina Spa tonic water commercial from 1981 transferred from Philips VCR LP videocassette. Classic tonic water commercial advertised by Australia's radio presenter legend John Laws along with a lineup of quite a few well known celebrities Col Joye, John Meillon, Bernard King, Bunny Gibson (Rita the Eta Eater), Dick Smith and a few others and of course the lady posing as Princess Diana is definitely not her as mentioned in the on screen text!

When John Laws says it is back,am I right in my recall that Taurina Spa was recalled after a contamination scare of some kind?

Apparently it was the CSIRO finding alarming levels of radium in the water. Radium does occur naturally in spring water, but obviously you would avoid bottling it up and selling it if you knew about it... And John Laws claiming everyone in the ad was paid nothing? I wouldn't believe a word of it!
