I had brain hemorrhage and taurine helpt me a lot recovering. I helped against overstimulation in my brain, and recovering many brainfunctions. It also made me less tired fysical and mentally. I wonder if it would help people with post-covid syndrome.

And since the level of taurine is sevrely reduced when we get older. It's a sure sign that supplementing with it to get it up to youthful levels is beneficial. Just like NAD+, glutathion, and possibly some other essebtial mechanisms in our body. All these seems to be anti-aging things we should be supplementing for.

It's obvious that we need more facts about what taurine actually does in our bodies. Notice how many times she say things like "might do" or other ways of telling us, we aren't really sure. Research have indicated that a lot happen in our body from tauring. But how it does it, they simply doesn't know! Actually. i'm pretty sure taurine does a lot, and that we need it in our diet. But I like facts! It's not the video. It's the research that's missing! One thing we know is that taurine increases the lifespan and healthspan of mice about 15%. That's a sure sign it's needed. We also know that cats gets heart failure and goes blind if they don't get it. That's an indication of that it's absolutely required. We "seems to" know that it reduces senescencent cells and increases the length of the telomerases. If it's true, that's huge! I guess we have to continue supplementing with taurine until the research tells us why we should do it!

Eat more iron-containig foods. You can also supplement with iron directly. I am not a medical professional but have studied medicine extensively (3y in med school) Amionacids might help with absorbtion but if you are not eating enough iron in the firstplace, qhat is the point of optimising absorbtion if you are having chips and soda all day?
