Yes to all of this. I feel optimistic since it showed up in my feed, that I was able to access it is a good sign. The bit about ruminating blocking intelligence lines up very well with Iain McGilchrist's work on the hemispheres of the brain. I highly recommend it, it helps to make sense of many things. Short version: the right side sees holistically and the left sees the parts. Too much left is missing the forest for the trees.
