@@adamsanchez464 - NO!! I've actually sold all my taurus guns since I made this comment. I went to the range with a friend of mine, and he has the smith and wesson m&p 2.0 9mm, and the trigger on that gun is pretty dam good! The take up on the taurus was way too much for me, my groups were all over the target, while my friends groups were well placed right out of the box. Now i must admit I'm no sharpshooter, and I didn't really give the taurus a chance, but after the trigger experience I had with that gun I knew that it wasn't gonna work for me. I now have the smith and wesson m&p 2.0 10mm, and 9mm, and also have the springfield xd elite 10mm, and like those so much better. I will give tuarus credit on the pricing of their guns, they are affordable, and its better to have a taurus, than to be completely unarmed in a self defense situation, but as the old saying goes,,"You get what you pay for" 🤷🏾‍♂️, research the gun you want very well, and make the best decision for you, 👍🏾

I bought one of these about 3 months ago along with the .380 Spectrum . They’re both decent guns . Not the best in the world but they WILL get the job done if your being robbed , carjacked , broken in to , just general protection they’re great little handguns . The odds of getting into a shootout like on tv are slim to none . Unless you hang out in the hood. Edited ….. I decided to sell my Taurus . I’ve only got my Ruger LCP 380. It’s a great little gun . Much easier to take care of . It was a little bit more than the Taurus 9mm G2C but it’s the Ruger is all I need . It fits in your front pocket

I'm a left handed shooter with small hands. It's no problem for me to run my left thumb across to engage/disengage the safety. Absolutely fits in my hands to the tee. The memory pads Taurus beveled under the slide are a great point to grip the gun when racking the pistol. I love my G2C.

I just bought one this month and I’m honestly considering buying a second one because I’m in Love with it, you forgot to mention that it has 2 neat features one it shows indicator when a round is chambered and two if you happen to have a dead strike on a round this has the ability to re strike trigger pull.

Yao Tzio If you don't mind SAO in a SAA then the Heritage Rough Rider is a fun little revolver. They go for $100 up to about $160 usually. I think mine was $157. Just check the muzzle over to maker sure there are no mars in the crown. Thread lock all the screws and its great pistol. If the front sight is off you can screw the barrel just a little to one side or the other without bending the front sight. My sights were on out of the box but I did have to give the muzzle a crown job.

I have one of these. Got it a a steal. Easy to conceal inside waistband in a concealed holster. Comfortable to wear. Easy to shoot. Trigger on mine is nice, smooth and consistent. Aims well. The front sight could be better, but that is my next task. I replaced the guide rod in it with a stainless steel set up. Very nice. Never had a misfeed yet. Have put over 3 thousand rounds through it. After about 250 rounds it broke itself in and smoothed out all around. All I can say is whatever you carry….. practice, practice , practice. And when you think you have mastered your firearm.. practice, practice, practice. Everything about your use of your weapon should be muscle memory. If not practice, practice, practice. Then and only then will you become competent and consistent with it’s use. When you finally need to really use it you will be ready.

I just got off the range. I had a couple of stoppages, but I failed to clean my magazines. After a thorough cleaning it was great. It was brand new out of the box. As a combat Marine, the failures were mine and not the handgun. I like it a lot. I also recommend that you but top of the line ammo for this weapon. I am seeking to go back to the range asap. Good shooting and be safe.

The only thing I make sure I do is clean after every range trip. I also, disassemble and do a light lube/cleaning every couple weeks if needed (I live with cornfields around our subdivision, so a lot of dust).

I own a G2c and I will say as long as you maintain it and keep it oiled up good it’s one of the best beginner hand guns you can get for a reasonable price. Also can use +p rounds which is a huge plus for home defense rounds such as RA9124TP rounds

Ive noticed if you just do dry slide catching and release. That tough slide release will settle down. My first gun and its nice to have a firearm you can trust. Also bought a lot of upgrades for it. Very nice

My wife has the G2C, I have the G3 and have used all kinds of ammo in them with no trouble, even Tul Ammo and it's some dirty ammo but have to shoot what you can find these days. Great Video 👍

I totally got this as a carry piece and I wouldn’t change a thing as the sights and trigger won’t matter when the adrenaline is running this isn’t rly a show off at the range pistol but I still love it I do also have a Kimber 1911 custom II for some real range fun

I've owned the G2c for a number of years now, and I can say that when I first bought it, I really thought it would probably be a throw away gun. Meaning, it would not perform the way I'd want it to. At the time, they were running a promo on the new G2, so I picked it up for $179.oo. Now, about 1K rounds later I'm amazed at how great this piece really is. Never any kind of problem . . .not ever. Kudos to Taurus for producing such an affordable and dependable piece.👌😁A++++

A great reason for a weapon like this is, when you go to a gun free zone and you abide by the laws of the land, you have to leave your weapon in the vehicle. Like when I take my kid to his speech therapy or a doctor's appointment. Leaving my $500+ dollar guns in the car makes me unhappy and anxious. Leaving the G2c locked up in the car doesn't hurt my feelings at all. I don't worry if there is a break in and they find and break open my vehicle safe at least my prized weapon is not gone. It was just my G2c, sacrificed itself for our family 😂 I'd be heartbroken if something happened to my other 2 carry guns. They're both special to me.

You can't go wrong with the g2c at this price point! I have the g2c and the stoeger str9c! For home protection the str9 for concealed carry the g2c! The stoeger str-9c is another firearm worth taking a look! The only problem i have with the stoeger was finding the right holster for it!! Both great firearms! In my opinion I don't need to spend $700 on a glock when you have the Taurus g2c or g3c, Stoeger str9c and Canik TP9!!!

I've had mine sense 2017 can't count how many rounds have been through it. My boys got there's to for there concealed carry. The wife did not care full the recoil of the compact so she went with the g3 but she conceals it in her purse. Great review.

Been carrying mine since 2017. I disabled the safety, by using some JB Weld to fix the safety in place at the off position (obviously). Only because I am ambidextrous, carry appendix, and want the ability to draw with either hand. And with the safety on the left side, left hand use is tough. But I love this pistol!

I have the 7 round mag Taurus G2C . Small and shoots like a bear. Group out of two mags on paper. Less the 3” groups off hand @25 yards. In rapid fire! There is a safety also in the trigger feel that stop. Next movement is fire. So hit that stop and fire it’s amazing. I do want the upgraded 12 round mag G2C.grew up shooting hand guns. Small site window. Take practice to be good. Small movement in pistol site. Is a large movement down range .
