Taurus G3c vs G3xl vs G3

I love these G series pistols! We own several but not the G3x. I do have and carry a G3C as well as the G3, and that also means I have a G3XL LOL. I have swapped out slides and it works perfectly. Awesome guns!

I carry the regular G3, ive gotten a new barrel, firing pin and guide and recoil spring from Lakeline LLC that you mentioned. Its runs no problem and is super smooth. Ill have to look for that grip you mentioned. Great video

Good video as always. The 1911 is probably the most popular and the most customized pistol in existence. I bought a g3c in July 21 and just love it. But it is far from the stock now. Lakeline has made some money from me. I have upgraded the striker, the recoil spring, and just installed the ported barrel. My groups were reduced by 50% and significant reduction in recoil. The G3 will probably be Taurus' best product. It is low priced but far from being cheap!

Thanks for the video. Great explanation of differences. I have big hands. The G2C, same size as G3C, is great for CC but it doesn't fit well in my hands. My pinky stays halfway seated on the grip.

Is the lakeline firing pin a little narrower than the taurus pin? I ask because my Glock spring wont fit over the taurus firing pin. It fits but is way to tight. Lakeline is out of stock right now but I'm going to get it when i can. I was just wondering about the diameter of the pins.

I’m not sure, I’ll have to measure them. I do know it’s a snug fit but they work with the lakeline.

Do the mags switch out with G3 into the other 2 ?

The g3 mag will fit but it sticks out a good bit. You’d also want a grip sleeve to cover the void.

g3c. concerns me because I don't want pinching my hand on magazine swapping. but I really like the size of it

I’ve never had a problem with pinching my hand with it and I’ve swapped a lot of mags during drills.
