Well, it's confusing. I haven't studied Vedic astrology but supposedly if your Vedic Rising is Taurus it is Gemini in Western astrology. So it wouldn't translate in that sense. Also I have seen descriptions of house attributes that are different in Vedic vs. Tropical. Some similarities but some differences.

I don't know what your Sun sign is but you are very practical and I always think that if someone has Venus in Capricorn to really examine why you are interested in someone and make sure there is an emotional connection. Sometimes I think of Venus in Capricorn as being calculated in a love relationship--looking for the big payoff. 😂

lemurian chick it really does. It's been an interesting dynamic all my life- as if I am two people. One wants to have a great time, be free , follow whims...but then there is a serious, realist side that can put that in check! A real blessing as that grounding has allowed me to be a more "focused" sagittarius. Just now at age 32 I am experiencing the harmony of this combination and harnessing it better.

When you say YOU do you mean yourself? Because I never felt that way. I always knew that it would create that effect. If you truly don't realize that, there is probably a disconnect there from.the Gemini Sun. Men are visual creatures--end of story. Women have to own up to their behavior too and be honest with themselves about their true motives. I don't give women a pass. I think society is bashing men for everything now. Reverse sexism, in other words. You can be girly or feminine and wear a long dress that is romantic but not overtly sexual. I was wearing mini skirts and tight shirts. I knew exactly what I was doing. 😉 And I already had a partner. I didn't need to be doing that but I didn't feel like I had anything else to offer the world. And that's the sad part. But my first Saturn Return changed all that.

It's what you take pride in about yourself and your aspirations. The Rising sign is more of the image and the conditioning from the family of origin and early years that shows up as a facade or your "image."
