I think the biggest challenge is within me! I have a battle going on with standing up for myself/self-care AND not wanting to disappoint others/seeing myself as failing. Very accurate. Been married for 23 years. I dont know how to deal with all thats going on. Too much people got into our lives too much neglect gor each other but giving to others. Neglected our own feeling and happiness. My husband acts like we are brother and sister, not husband and wife. Both of us dont want a divorce. I have a very similar story. I left my partner and father of our 3 children of sixteen years due to DV and his addiction. He drove his mental and physical health into the ground. I painstaking tried to help him while enabling him to the point of my health slipping. I had to get the kids out. It’d be easier if my story was that of a widow because of the stigma, “Why’d you stay?” After I left, I dated a guy who was just nice enough to me that resulted in having been strung along for 2 years- he constantly compared himself to me and was intimidated by my resilience and success as a parent and in business. He was very insecure and made me more insecure. I’d only been able to put up with it because he wasn’t overtly abusive to me. Now, in attempting to date again, I have very low tolerance for red flags & bull$**t. I am patient, kind, talented, creative, above average looks and intelligence. I ask myself, “Why, God? Why am I without a partner?” What I’ve received in dreams is that I am enough (for myself), I am very deserving of love, and I WILL have a second phase/ marriage for which I’m currently resting before it happens. My dream literary told me this, the last part. It was a premonition. I felt partnered and secure, whole. It will happen for us, and rn, we need only enjoy our solitude and quietly wait for The Universe to deliver.
