With all respect, you regard yourself as an "Alpha" male but you don't pursue a woman you are interested in? A Taurus may not take you very seriously. I will get to that in a moment. First, you mention all that you have going for yourself which is probably a great talking point for many other signs. Taurus? Not so much. Nothing turns a Taurus woman off more than people we believe are showoffs. We often associate this with some sort of pretentiousness, and though we like nice things, we value authenticity more because of its relationship to stability. We need to feel secure, and if you come across as insecure; we will walk away. Okay. Now to the next point. We know who we are and what we want. We are interested in men who are the same. As traditionalists, we will expect a man interested in us to make the move. This is very basic for us. If you have a different perspective on male/female dynamics that are incongruous with you showing a Taurus woman full interest, you should probably seek a more compatible partner. One more open to less conventional dating maxims. For the record, I had a great relationship with a Gemini. HE always pursued me! He was very much invested in making it work with me and vice versa and when we realized it didn't we nurtured the best of us; the friendship. And continue to do so today.
