I got my first Wear OS smartwatch the other day, the Oppo Watch X. So disappointed by it, was shocked it doesn't even support a proprietary way to transfer and play music on the watch, I have to use clunky and slow third party apps. And doesn't have a lot more of user friendly features that are hard to lose once you're accostumed with them. Returning it this week and going back with Amazfit with this balance. My only worry is that it's 1 year old, do you think a new model will be released soon and so I should wait for it?

My balance arrived today. Switched back to Amazfit after TicWatch 3 PRO. Ticwatch died hours before package arrival, burning hole in screen from inside. That sums my experience with it. At the other hand i still have first Amazfit Pace, not a single issue to this day.

Yes to all three, the normal media controller can control media on your phone, including Spotify. Remotify is a app you can download that gives control of Spotify like selecting different playlist etc. NFC payment is fine in Europe not sure of the US. Need to use curve though. Recent update means you can respond to WhatsApp messages with a new keyboard rather than predefined responses

I have been wearing this watch for 6 months now. After a while, I stopped using all the fancy features and mostly use it to tell time and steps. The 2 week battery time is not accurate in that scenario. I typically charge on 3-4 WEEKs!

My brother did not want spend money for garmin . Bought this , own it 4months ( in reality maybe 2 ) It was perfect watch . Until he start jumping on jump rope . Screen stopped working , digitizer or any problem . He waited 1 month for a new piece because they were under warranty. Second time BT modul stop working , another one month without watch . He get second new one . And last time he was swimming in 50m pool . The watch began to overheat. It simply flooded with water. This time his complaint was not recognized and he could throw away the watch and lost 250€ . It's not always worth buying cheap shit, even if it looks like the best in the world on the reviews. Now he has FR965 and is satisfied.

Returned it after a day because it didn't upload MP3s. Absolute annoying to use. Even if it works (like on the Amazfit Cheetah) you can't leave the upload screen! So you can't use your phone while it uploads the MP3s! 😮 Even a 140€ Huawei Fit 3 can upload MP3s in the background.

In terms of smartwatches, there's Garmin, Apple, Samsung and Polar. Smartphones: Samsung, Apple, Nokia, HMD.. . Clothing: Jack and Jones, Lyle and scott, Floris van Bommel, etc... I mean, there is enough...
