Intercoolers cool air for multiple reasons including what you mentioned @Tavarish. I just want to add that they also cool the air and this causes more dense air which allows the turbo to push more pressure through to the engine. The cooling allows for higher air density into the engine increasing compression

@@CBTalon97 Yea One of the first bigger things I did after I started on our workshop was overhaul engine and transmission + alot of minor things on a 3000gt VR-4 TT It was a big job that I had for sevral month since I had to wait for parts and just working on it from time to time when there was a gap in the Booking when I had got some parts. I have always said that I have a mastership for technician since I've completed that enormous mission! I literally have a 93 Dodge Stealth RT/TT stored for the past 8 years in a barn. Some day I'll take it out and fix it up. (Dodge Stealth is the same car as the VR4 btw)

Living in the North East of the country. Rust is a way of life on vehicles. Yeah it sucks, but it's cheaper to deal with the rust then getting another vehicle that will rust in a year or two. People that live in the Southern and Western States. Feel blessed, very blessed.

20 years old and still damn fine looking car. I always liked them, alas never owned one. A friend owned an early one with pop-up headlamps and he had so many problems with it - then again, I know what his DIY skills are like, so it's hard to blame the car!

I had to sell mine to pay for my dad's funeral, it has always been my Dream car and one day I hope to find one again. I put so much love on mine, time, money and letting it go was additional pain to the grief of already losing my best friend. It is nice to see the look in your face, that look when you find something that has been missing...
