In the dnd campaign I play in I play a druid and we needed a distraction. So I polymorphed the wizard into a rhino in the middle of a tavern. The pirate orc storm cleric got on top of the wizard turned rhino and ride around while the kenku artificer with a habit of stealing stole as much gold as possible. This is the music our dm played. It was amazing.

Classes to never attack in a brawl, the bard or the monk

There are four different classes you need to watch out for in a Drunken Brawl. The Monk, the Bard, the Berserker Barbarian, and the Fighter with Unarmed Fighting Style/Gauntlets of Punching

Reasons: Bard can charm you and turn get you onto their side, Monk is a Monk, Barbarian isn't going down anytime soon, and the Fighter is going to attack you with 9 different attacks that deal a d8 each or just go Jotun and get an extra d8 to all his damage rolls and make it your problem because they're wearing a sqord that allows them to shackle you with fiery shackles that deal 2d8 damage initially and 1d8 every turn thereafter if the fighter so chooses and don't even let the fucker call his sorceress girlfriend he's now gonna fold you like an omelet with 12-14 different attacks per turn

I had this exact lineup of players. I played the fighter who wasn't the smartest or most charismatic but still managed to at least get a girlfriend out of the sorceress. She and him didn't last long, but all I can say is in that short few months that they were together, they were mostly passionate (as in they'd risk their lives for each other but weren't...y'know, going to town)

Yeah, but except in Medieval Europe when they had no piano nor Ragtime, but they did have lots and lots of drunken brawls, I'm sure. Also, no beer: Only hard liquors in there, if one or more of the mugs aren't splinted into pieces... Hm, screw that! I don't even drink alcohol! I was looking for the pipe-weed smoking-section... :P

A party of just Bards walk into a bar, looking for a target they were hired to kill. They pretend to be the replacement band and get on stage. They set up and start to play, the drums and guitar kicking in at first. The drums start the patrons' hearts, getting their blood going. The guitar fills the bar with a magic strum that immediately fills the bar...with rage. As soon as there's a mishap, mistake, anything minor, the first punch is thrown. With it, the flutist starts, bringing the rest of the bar in the fight...

The fact you can basically guess who is what type of fighter and what is being done to someone is really good detail. Glasses, chairs, tables, a brutish large figure or someone sliding across something. 👍

Just had our groups first tavern brawl last night with this music playing. My doctor rogue character just finished hustling and fleecing some poor fools out of their coin playing games of pool before they confronted them. The druid and the cleric were placing bets on what would happen and the barbarian watched while the wizard, my gf in and out of game. Went invisible to get involved thinking he needed help. Well the thugs only got one clean shot on the rogue as he danced around then swinging and tripping or smacking them with his cane. Rogue knocks out three of them, two dragonborn and a goliath. And then we decide to string the goliath up like a pinata to teach him a lesson and then more of them show up. The elf druid gets involved trying to deescalate things until he got lifted by a second goliath before delivering a nut shot and it descended into all out chaos. We fought out way out, laughing the whole way out than had to outrun the guards and lose them in the streets so they didn't regonize us. We had a blast.
