Without question, the Hauser III! It is crystal clear that Tavi connected to it the most. His emotion was bursting behind his calm resolve. He should own that very instrument. The well rounded tone and clarity of the instrument is unsurpassed. The rest are wonderful instruments, but they lack the generations of heart, soul, and sheer physical development. Tavi should've finished with the H-III. Well done, both Tavi and Herman Hauser III. Well done!

@TaviJinariuGuitarist
@TaviJinariuGuitarist 9 жыл бұрын
Brian Cullen Hi Brian. I didn't know what strings were used for any of the guitars. I just know that each guitar+string combination requires a different approach and attack in order to bring about the desired musical phrasing. One string does not fit all guitars. Use the strings that best respond to your phrasing.
@soundknight
@soundknight 9 жыл бұрын
TaviJinariuGuitarist Thats solid advice, thank you very much Tavi. You have very beautiful phasing in your playing. I'm currently recording videos with different sets of strings, I'm up to the 7th set. I haven't posted them yet, I figure Ill do them industrial style all processes at once.

Very fine expressive playing, and lovely guitars. However the actual transcription or adaption is anachronistic because it leaves out all the lovely ornaments indicated in the original tablature - the trills, appoggiaturas, mordents. arpeggiations etc. It would be great if Tavi did his own research and transcription /arrangement and re record this suite

The early Hausers were the least attractive. There was some speculation that they housed secret documents during the war but who knows whether these fantastic rumors were true. The 1947 Hauser was getting better, maybe louder like the German howitzer. It could be carried from country to country and retain some of its punch. But the best Hauser was the 1968 model. It has a full belly sound and punch. Nothing like the Spanish Flamenco guitars with the high upper register of sound and a shell that takes a beating. The Spanish guitars always take a considerable percussive beating and I find that reprehensible - like beating your wife. It's a cruel country with these macho displays. The Hauser guitars are showing great progress. The other three have very nice warm tones for modern guitars.
