Tavistock England - Market Town In The Moors

The town of Tavistock, England in Devon is a picturesque market town. Benedictine monks built a monastery here in 961. The town was given a Royal Market Charter in 1105. The market is still in operation today. Tavistock has a number of fairs and festivals during the year. The largest is the Goose Fair in October. The town is only twelve miles north of Plymouth and is a popular gateway to the Dartmoor National Park.

Founder of Tavistock Institute of Human Relations. British Army Major John Rawlings Reese. Main facilities of operations: London and Essex, Headquarters of British Army's Psychological Warfare Bureau. Founded in 1921. Successor to Wellington House. David Rockefeller was funding Tavistock in return for taking over the SD (Sicherheits Dienst). The SD was transferred to Washington D.C. and became Interpol later on.
