Jim Chalmers lives in cookoo land. These measures don’t touch the sides when I’m $1000 a month out of pocket due to rate rises to combat overseas influences and corporate price gouging. Labour are simply coasting since getting in and not doing enough to stop corporate greed, roll out windfall taxes, resource taxes etc.

The language around it is telling, the government says that it costs them money rather than refunds us money… implies they own us.

*They should have capped the energy bill relief at households earning over $250k a Houshold and given everyone under that $600...NSW is one of the richest states and we are only getting $300 from our state government and yet Queenslanders are getting $1,000 of their bills plus the $300 from the federal government*
