The ISA allowance of £20k may seem generous to many, but when you have money in an investment account the date April 6th, when you can transfer £20k into an ISA, cannot come quickly enough.

None. ISA withdrawals are tax-free but you can only preserve any future tax benefits (e.g. on interest earned, dividends received etc) if you pay the money back in within the same tax year.
