I apologize, but if this did not turn out to be a great dramatic episode with a life lesson, I would have hated it. When you take your beautiful. most leading lady and strip off her clothes just to get people's attention, that just does not fly with me. Two movies that come to mind are Blue Velvet and SOB. which I feel are two exploitive movies that took advantage of their female lead. But the message here is spousal abuse (spouse in terms of living together) and it is clear that the writers know about the psychological dynamics involved. You have your actor that looks like a young Russell, Pyotr Krylov, and your actor that looks like and has the aire of Ethan Hawke on the screen with Alexandra Soroka and this triumvirate of actors takes this script and make it true dramatic art. Oh you showed up where I live and fired me, time for a lawsuit, I am getting five years pay minimum. A little unrealistic, way too fast on the breakup, too fast on the firing. Maybe in 3-5 years, but not in a day and a half.
